Recycle My Ass

June 18th, 2008 · 11 Comments

So my wonderful home town of K.C.K (or The Dotte, as we like to call it) is starting a curbside recycling program. Can this be any more fucked up? Do I get my green bins delivered or dropped off? NOPE! I have to go pick them up! Which is no big deal, I can just go to the Rosedale Development Association located at 1403 S.W. Blvd. Which is not that fare from my house.

Here is the fucked up part the hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5 pm? That’s it no weekends. So they expect me - THE MUTHA-FUCKIN D - to take time off work to go all the way down there and pick up these stupid bins? FUCK THAT!! I’m not taking off work for you, jerk-offs in KCK, and using my hard earned PTO so I can waist my time sorting my trash. You want me to recycle then you can drop off the bins like the rest of the metro did for there residents.

Besides, recycling cost more than it’s worth, in lost time, and productivity in the work place. So you tree huggers can SUCK IT!

We had to pick them up in KCMO, too. However, we could just go to Price Chopper. Recycling is just the right thing to do, D.

Not if it causes my trash collection to go up and my utilites to say the same.

Just throw your stuff in the regular trash. Recycling is a waste of time and effort.

    D–

Quit your belly aching. We recycle at our house & we have a lot less trash than we use to.

The SIS - You have the exact same amount of trash. It’s just in 2 half full trash cans instead of one full trash can. Which in fact creates MORE work for The Coach becasue he has to make more trips to the curb or work harder in one trip the the curb.

Besides I’m more pissed off at the place that I have to get the bins from than anything else. Why are their hours not condusive to 90% of the population?

I live in Rosedale and I’ve never heard of a recycling program.

Red- I live in Rosedale too. When you pick up your bins, do me a solid and get mine too, Will ya?. Just toss’em in my yard.

Good boy! :) With all the beer bottles and/or cans you go through, I’m sure you’ll have more than enough to fill up your bin.

We had to fuckin’ BUY ‘em in KCMO, so quit yer bitchin’.

DC - I’m not doing it unless those bins are delivered!

K - See what I mean by “not cost effective” Since you’ve been recycling have your utilities gone down? I think NOT!

And you’re not even bringing up the fact you’d be burning a bunch of gas to go pick that fucking thing up. Would been much better on the environment to just stop by everyone’s house and throw the bins at the people’s dogs. Sure, it’d piss the dogs off, but global warming would stop, and aren’t polar bears cuter than your dog anyhow?
