Not really much going on round these parts these days except lots and lots of working and freezing.
Even though I have the temp turned WAY up its still ice cold in the house. I wearing a hoodie with the hood pulled over my head. Long johns sweatpants, 2 pairs socks, shoes and I’m still ffffeezzing!!!
So I’ll just give ya this week in bullet format. So I can go back under the blanket on the couch.
- Bought almost all Christmas gift exclusively on-line this year. Just hope they all come in before Wednesday.
- The step-brothers kids are actually asking for gift cards from Wal-mart. But they do live in Blue Springs if that tells ya anything.
- Spent 90% of my bonus today playing catch up on some overdue bills. And paying down the credit card debt, but still have a long way to to get rid of it. But I did have enough left over to stash away so I can get the house painted this spring. Its obvious that I’m way to lazy to do it myself.
- Chiefs still suck balls (like that was any surprise)
- Nah’ lens Krewe (formerly the D.C.Krewe ) comes in to town Wednesday afternoon. I should probably tell them that is going to snow Wednesday morning.
- Work this will will blow. I’m going to have to work half day Christmas Eve, but I’m not working Christmas day. Any other time I’ll still be working 10-12 hour days. But at least we don’t have to wear ties until next year. w00t!
- I’m part of a planning committee for a banquet held every 3rd Saturday in January. I do the invitations and the money handling. Invitations go out on the 26th so I have to pick up 200-300 stamps from the post office. Print the address labels, put them on envelops with stamps some time before then. Don’t know when I’m going to have time to do that.
Later peeps,
If I don’t see ya Have a Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year.

We already knew about the weather and are NOT looking forward to it.
We had our house painted last year. Having the money to get that done is always good. We’re even paying the guy to paint some of the inside so we can get ready to sell sometime next year (good luck with that…I’ll need to bury a St. Joseph statue).
Lastly, make sure you spell everything correctly on those invitations!

Bored house guests that don’t want to go out in the freezing cold = envelope-stamping and addressing staff.
