Halloween Shmalloween

Tonight I’ll be staying home. (unless I get a better offer) I know what your thinking “But The D your a kick-ass single dude! Why stay home on a Saturday night when there is so much to do?”

Well, I’ll tell you avid reader.

Tonight one of my favorite bands in the whole wide world is playing at the Sprint Center, Metallica. Tickets are 100 bucks or more on Stubhub. I can’t afford that much for a few hours of brain splitting loud hard rock. Just to be clear I’m a fan of brain splitting loud hard rock. None of my “friends” thought of me when they all made plans to see the show back when tickets went on sale. Whatev, they’re all fired.

Another friend of mine is having his yearly Halloween party tonight. From the Evite attendees list it looks like there will be about 125-150 people there mostly couples. UGH, there nothing more annoying than couples in matching Halloween costumes? LAME-O!

I’m not going to that party because Halloween is for children. I know that it’s also a reason for hot chicks to dress in skimpy outfits. But if I wanted to go somewhere and be surrounded by hot chicks dressed in skimpy outfits that act like they want my hot beef injection, then get shot down at the end of the night I’d go to The Shady Lady.

Halloween is for children under 14.

We adults have New Years.

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday of the year! It’s about the only time I get to freely brandish my sword.

But I don’t appear to have any plans whatsoever this year. The sea chest full of medieval goodness hasn’t even been cracked open.

Looks like it’s just you and me, buddy.

You’re becoming more and more like me every single day.

Does that frighten you? It should.
