Graceful Winner

April 9th, 2008 · 6 Comments

I haven’t posted anything about Monday’s National Championship game for one reason.

It’s because I’m a graceful winner.

I refuse to rub my team’s victory in your face. I refuse to taught you with all of the stats from the season that puts us in the top 3 of every major category in college basketball. I refuse to remind you about the fact that we were 9 points down with 2 minuets left in the game. I refuse to remind you that your team hasn’t been to the Final Four since Moses wore shorts. I refuse to post videos of the madness that went down at Allen Field House. I will allow you to keep saying that your season was a success just because you beat us for the first time in 20 years in YOUR OWN HOUSE! I will allow you to keep saying that we “backed in” to the final four. Saying that we didn’t beat anyone good. Only after we beat the number one ranked team in the country, and the number two ranked team in the country.

I won’t remind you of the fact that we have been to the tournament 22 out of the last 25 times. I won’t remind you of the fact that we have played in (and yes lost) the Final game of the tournament twice in the last 20 years. But you don’t remember those games do you?

I’m also a grace full loser. I’ll let you remind me of the Bucknell’s and the Bradley’s of the world, even when your team didn’t even get invited to the tournament those years. I’ll let you point out missed calls by the refs on us while you ignore the missed calls by the same refs on the other team. I’ll let you say things like “KU didn’t win that game, Memphis lost it.” I’ll let you complain how bad it is to work with Jayhawk fans and their obnoxiousness. It’s just because we have some pride in our team. Our coaches coach to win a National Championship, not to beat a rival Big 12 team. Which is why your team will never win a National Championship. And will never be considered a Champion.

You on the other hand are a sore loser. All you can do is sit there and moan and grown about how unhappy you are about our victory. You’re not even adult enough to admit that it was a great game. You just pick apart the Jayhawks like a jealous douche bag that you are.

If your team would have won I would have congratulated you on your victory.

The Jayhawks are The National Champions and all you can do is bring up lies about a cheating scandal, that never happened, or it would have been published in a major newspaper.

But I’m not talking to you I like you, your alright.

SO SUCK IT!

I’m with you on this one, The D. Whoever accuses KU of cheating or other kinds of unethical behavior is just biased. Hell, it’s not like their players fail drug tests (three times) and still get to play or anything.

Congratulations on your team kicking major ass. And thank you for your class, tastefulness and restraint in posting.

See I can be very gracious to the culties!

If “Aqib” is a fan of any of either Silo Tech or Little Dixie, then he really shouldn’t act like a zoo attraction and throw shit. Because there is plenty of shit to dig up on your institutions and fling it right back at you. Is an awfully short memory a requirment to attend these two “institutes of learning”? If so, I hope you kept good notes in school so you can thumb through them everyday at work to remember how to do your job.

For those with short memories I’ll quote one of your own before I “light this place up”!!!!!

Your team just won a national championship, why do you care what fans of other teams think?

So what you’re saying is you’re gay?

No I’m kidding I was at work and missed it all and I’m just happy that they didn’t choke like the last three times. Your guys played a hell of a season and deserve everything you get. CONGRATS!

(I’ll ignore the sarcasm, I know you weren’t talking to me)

The D, it takes a big man to admit he’s wrong.
