ESPN’s Chris Mortensen (Mort, as we call him) reported on Sunday NFL Countdown that Parcells’ contract has one “out” in it. This “out” would allow Parcells to walk within the next month or so. As it stands now Parcell’s is currently employed by the Dolphins. The “out ” is if owner Wayne Huizenga sells the team. The sale of the franchise is currently under discussion and Wayne wants to get it done before the end of the year.

The sale of the team could come a s early as Tuesday.

I sure hope Clark Hunt is listening.

IF the sale happens on Tuesday then I better get the news that the Chiefs have hired him or at least brought him in for a discussion.

Parcells turned around the Dolphins from a one win season last year to a team fighting for a division championship today. He’s the most qualified for the position of Director of Player Personnel.
