What made this project so difficult was that I was learning 2 differnt programs while still keeping up the production of the drawings. Also setting the foundatiuon for how things are going to run when other designers are going to use these programs. 3d modeling is much more difficult that your standard 2d AutoCAD drawings.

This weekend was only my 2nd weekend all year that I had the whole weekend off.

I mowed the lawn and watched the NFL Draft. Saturday night I walked up to The Twin, drank too much, and came home. Sunday woke up at 12:30 turned on the race a then woke up at 5:30.

That was a good weekend.

First, we stopped at the Lenscrafters, it took us about 20 minuets to gather up a selection of about 5 that looked best on me. Then we went down to Eyemasters. I didn’t like any of their frames plus every frame I tried on was so dirty I could barely see though then. The place was dirty, yo!

We headed back to Lencrafters. Then sifted though the final 5 pairs narrowing it down to 2 then the winning pair was the copper ones.  I wanted to get the Dolce and Gabbana ones  only because D&G are my initials, I could probably make all kinds of jokes about them. They say they can have your frames back to you in “about an hour”, HOGWASH! I’m not going to get them for 10 days! So I’m stuck with these el-cheap-o’s that I picked out in the doctors office. They came free with my insurance plan. Those are the ones in the pic. They don’t fit, they keep sliding down my face, ALL THE TIME! Its about as annoying as getting punched in the face.

This week is going to be über busy at work. I fear that I might have to even get up BEFORE 7 am and get to work early. I think I might be breaking one of the 10 Commandments getting up before 7. I think mornings should be against the law. Someone should add a constitutional amendment stating that mornings should only start after 10 am during the week and 2 pm on weekends. Mornings can suck it. I’ll still be working until 10 pm or later. Except for Wednesday of course.

Good news is that it will only get busier as the project progresses. Oh did I mention that I also have to learn a new cutting edge program AND write the SOP for the effing department? AWESOME!

Saturday night We had our November birthday party. It’s not just my birthday there’s 8 of us that have b-days in November, so we avoid having to go out and get wasted 8 times in a month, which would piss-off most of the wives. We have one party big party.

As we have in the past we had it in the back room of the Bulldog. The back room is officially called Uncle Bills Room. Its really cheap (i.e. free) to rent out. All ya have to do is call and reserve it.

Normally this is the point in the post where I would post some pics of me making stupid faces, but I forgot my camera and no one has sent me any, so I guess your s.o.l. But there have been some already posted on FB.

After the Bulldog we went to Mint in Martini Corner. On the way home I stopped at Ponchos.

That’s about it for the weekend. I can’t be out slutting it up every weekend ya know.
