I’m not going to recap the whole 2.5 hours because then I’d have to watch it again, and I don’t have that kind of time. I have homeless people to beat up. (One of these days I going to find who I’m looking for.)

So I’m only going with a overall theory.

Not everyone died in the plane crash. What happened on the island really happened. The flash-sideways world was a passage way to the light i.e. heaven. Everyone in the Sideways world was dead. They either died on the island or died some where and at some time after.

The church was a place that they all made together so they could all find each other.

(which answers the question why they always had to come and go from the island together as a group) BOOM! YOU JUST GOT UNIVERSED! (I heard that on HIMYM tonight, so had to use it.)

Jack saved the Light when he rescued the Island. We were told by Jacob this season, that if the Light goes out here, on the island, it goes out everywhere and everyone you love would simply cease to be. If the Light had gone out, no one would never have reconnected with their loved ones again. But because Jack saved it, they all get to live happily ever after in the afterlife.

If you hadn’t noticed the blood on Jacks neck in the sideways world was a sign that Jack was either already dead or was dieing. Another sign was that appendix scare that he noticed but couldn’t remember when he had his appendix removed? That is from when Locke stabbed him a couple of times.

In this seasons first episode Rose says to Jack “You can let go now”. This was in the sideways world. She was trying to tell him to let go of this world and go in to the next.

Hugo and Ben stayed on the island and lived a long time. Kate, Claire, Lapidus, Sawyer, Miles and Richard all got off the island and live there lives. Kate tells Jack that she missed him.

I’m sure this has some holes and its not meant to answer everything. I watched the episode 24 hours ago and I don’t take notes while watching. So I know I missed some things, and I’m not going to steal stuff from other sites. But you should read this one.

*******************

There seams to be a division among the people that watched Lost about the finale. You either loved it or you hated it.

Here my theory on that:

If you were interested in the Characters and how each of them were flawed. How the love stories were played out and who was going to end up with whom then you probably liked this episode.

But if you were more interest in the mysteries of the island, like why Jacobs statue had 4 toes, Why women couldn’t have babies on the island, and all of those sort of questions the you probably hated it. Because those questions were never answered.

Where do you fall? Im kind of on the fence. I like the episode but I wish they would have stuck with the island mysteries, Darma Initiative, Hanso Foundation, The Degroots, Those are the kinds of mysteries that have kept me watching from the beginning.

*******************

When I watch a television show I watch to be entertained. That’s what TV is for entertainment. So at the end of this series I have to ask myself, “Self, were you entertained?” And if I were to answer my own question I’d have to say “Well, Self, Yes, yes I was entertained.”

Now I just need to get my hands on that special features disk of the box set that comes out later this year.

Now I’d like to know your closing thoughts on the finale and the series it’s self. What did you like, what did you dislike? Did you watch from the beginning? Why did you keep watching, why did you stop?

FYI this is the shortest review for any LOST episode you will ever read. You’re Welcome. (seriously what’s wrong with some of these people how can they come up with 11,000 words of a freaking tv show every week. Who has the time to read all that?

Namaste

Ive given up on trying to get the numbers of the episode right, fuck it.

That was a sweet episode right? Not the best this season but pretty good.

Things we’ve learned:

At the beginning I thought that was Snookie floating in the ocean.

Claudia was Jacobs and whats his face/ MIB real mother

Still no name for MIB DAMN YOU LOST WRITERS!! (shakes fist)

They were both born on the island.

Why did the lady kill Claudia?

The kids running around the jungle are Jacob and MIB.

MIB is dead his soul is the smoke monster. He can take the shape of any dead person, Locke, Christian Shepard, even HIMSELF.

Jacob finished the donkey wheel that MIB started that is how he travels off the island.

Tunnel Of Light…is the source of life and death and rebirth. MIB dies in the tunnel and is reborn as the smoke Monster.

The MIB stabs his “mother” and she say “thank you”. Why? Because death was the only escape she would ever have from the island.

Jacob drinks wine from the cup and destined to guard the Tunnel of Light until he is replaced. Richard agrees to help Jacob Jacob offers him a drink.

Mother and MIB bodies become the original Adam and Eve. A question that has been asked from the middle part of season 1.

Smokey makes the women infertile so that Jacob can’t get someone to replace him.

Or maybe they become infertile because of the electromagnetism coming from the island.

When I realized that MIB had been dead all this time I get the same feeling I get when I realized the Bruce Willis was dead the whole time in the Sixth Sense. creepy

So Jacob has been having conversations with his dead brother for all these years? The Smoke Monster been taking the shape of MIB all these years? Just as the Smoke Monster took over Locke bode. Is the smoke monster even the soul of Jacobs brother? Or was the Smoke Monster RELEASED from the tunnel when MIB floated in to it? Jacob must know that the Smoke monster isn’t his brother.

From a Lost website I read -

We know from Jacob’s previous “cork”/”wine” analogy that the island is the device that keeps all the evil from spilling out into the world. We know from Charles Widmore that if it does escape, it’s the end of “everyone we love.” And we know from tonight’s episode that the Man In Black absorbed all the light of the island, becoming the embodiment of pure evil (the Smoke Monster). MIB wants off the island, but can only do so if all the candidates are dead. And he can’t kill the candidates himself–which is why we’ve seen him “scan” Losties throughout the six seasons. (Who could forget that scene with Smokey coming face to face with Eko and flashing scenes of his life before him.

Interesting, no?

Your Thoughts?

Being the Lost expert that I’m not I thought I’d give my thoughts on the last couple of episodes while the flood of Noah is on it’s way. These are just my thoughts but I better put a ***SPOILER ALERT*** out there just in case.

May 11 – “Across the Sea” – This episode will not have any of the regular cast. It’s going to tell the back story of Jacob and MIB. It will be the one devoted to explaining who the MIB and Jacob are – or at least how they are related, IF they’re related. Is the Man in Black/MIB/Locke character Esau, the brother of Jacob, from the bible? I don’t think so, because I don’t think Jacob is the Jacob from the bible. Some other questions I want answered. When did they get to the island? How did they get there? How long have they been there? Who built the statue that Jacob lives in? Why does MIB hate Jacob so much? I hoping we get these answers.

May 18 – “What They Died For” – Look for Libby, Ana Lucia, Shannon, Boone, and Michael to return in this episode, if not the last episode. Judging by the title I’d say this one will have some answers as to why some characters have died during the 6 seasons. Also look for Rousseau to show up in this episode also.

May 23 – “The End” – I HAVE NO IDEA! I could tell you what I have found on the web but some of the theories I have read are all over the place.

So I’ll give up those theories once we get closer to the season finale.

FYI: On Sunday May 23rd ABC will start off at 6 pm central with the original pilot episode with pop-ups giving us new information. Like what? I don’t know. The final episode will be 2.5 hours then Kimmel will have a bunch of the cast on his show that night. The final will be 2.5 hours?

Check this shiz out!

In a typical hour long show you get 44 min actual show on average. The remaining time is taken up by commercials.

SO!

43×2=86

In a typical 30 min show you get 22 minutes of the show.

86+22 =108

OMFG!

You just wet yourself with my awesomeness didn’t you?

Wait what?

I almost forgot, if you’re in the Kansas City area and want to see the 2.5 hour finale at a movie theater you can. A screening will be held at the new Zona Rosa Studio Movie Grill Located at 7430 NW 87th Street Kansas City Missouri 64153
