After much debating I narrowed it down to just 2 competitors the iPhone and the Blackberry Storm.

So after weeks and weeks of research I finally came to a final conclusion.

I went with the iPhone. And I could by be happier with it. It has everything I wanted in a cell phone.

As soon as I got home I immediately loaded it with a few essential applications, or apps as they are called. Facebook, Twitterific (for twitter), Google earth, and WordPress (for blogging). In fact I’m writing this on the iphone RIGHT NOW! How freaking sweet is that!!*

I mainly went with the iphone for a couple of reasons. I was already an AT&T customer so that was a bonus but the TOP reason was cost of the service plan. AT&T was cheaper than Verizon for the same plan. Verizon was about 20 bucks more for the same plan. But the internet access plan is the same. Plus I found out that I get a 13% discount because my employer has a corportate plan with both Verison and AT&T.

So I’m now the proud owner of a new iPhone. Which makes me better that the rest of you humps!

After having a great saturday of running errands, going to a cross country meet and going to a pumpkin match with our friends, the kids & I got home and starting unloading our pumpkins.

I was outside on the front porch arranging the pumpkins & gourds and I hear Zach in the house crying a little. I go thru the front door & say “Zach what is the matter?” he says, “I cut my finger.” I am thinking oh a little scratch. I go around into the kitchen & he has paper towels wrapped around his left index finger & the paper towels are soaked with blood. I take away the paper towels to see where he is bleeding from & blood starts gushing again. I ask him what happened & he says “I cut it on my pumpkin stem.”

I quickly tell Nicole to get in the van, wrap Zach’s finger, tell him to get in the van. Slam all the doors shut in the house & race to the emergency room. Luck for us, it is only a couple of minutes away from our house.

He is kind of whimpering at this point. They take us into a room & put his hand in some “cleaning solution” it stops bleeding and the nurse leaves.  50 minutes later, the Dr comes in & says “okay, looks like a pretty good cut you’ll need about 3 stitches. I’ll be back in about 15 minutes to sow you up.” About 20 minutes later he shows up. Puts 5 stitches in his finger & we are on our way.

So we have had our 1st trip to the emergency room. Thank goodness it was his left hand.

He’s right handed. By the time I was this boys age I think I already had at least 4 trips to the emergency room, but then again I had 2 older brothers.
