I have some very good news to relay to all of you.

I am proud to announce the unlike Wikipedia, and other popular web sites this site The D Rules will NOT be going dark on January 18.

The reason for not going dark is because I have no clue what SOPA or PIPA is and I’m not sure if I care. Since I don’t know what they are, or what they mean, how can I give a shit about them?

And isn’t a web site going dark, in a form of protest, a lot like skipping school on Martin Luther King Day?

In other good news I’m down 3.1 lbs since January 11th, and I haven’t even started running yet! YEA ME!!

It basically says that people that leave comments on articles or blog post under anonymous or pseudonyms leave better quality comments, and that they leave more comments than people who use their real names.

I have to say that I agree with what the article says. I think anon comments are funnier, and more constructive comments on post that have a serious subject matter.

I also tend to leave more comments as The D instead of my real name. Also, I don’t want to know the real name of some people. I think their anonymous comments and post are better than their real life personae.

What do you think? If you use a pseudonym, or an alias to leave comments, do you also post using your real name?

Today April 13 is my 4 year blogiversary. So HAPPY BLOGIVERSARY TO ME!!

First I’d like to thank a few people who have helped me keep this thing going.

<>

End of list.

(if I actually listed those people that list would never end.)

Lets get right to the tale of the tape:

I’ve had a total of 707, 815 page loads and 153, 730 unique hits.

852 posts counting this one.

and

3 dates. (not counting stalkers)

Seriously, 3 dates from a real women that I otherwise would not have met if I didn’t have this blog. But she was smart and saw though my shenanigans pretty quickly.

I’m the only single dude that blogs about himself (when I do blog) in the Kansas City Blogossiphere.

And I wild continue to do so.
